Chie Filomeno is pushing back against a certain “Sofia,” whom she accuses of spearheading a smear campaign targeting her online.
In a series of seven Instagram Stories posted on the night of October 18, 2025, the dancer-turned-actress claimed that this “Sofia” had allegedly hired influencers to tarnish her reputation on social media.
Although Chie did not tag or name the person directly, online users quickly pieced together the clues she shared, linking them to actress and influencer Sofia Andres—who is reportedly in conflict with Chie.
CHIE VS SOFIA?
Chie Filomeno and Sofia Andres—both talents under Star Magic—were once close friends but reportedly had a falling out earlier this year.
The rift was seemingly confirmed on October 10, 2025, when Chie revealed on Instagram that Sofia had blocked her.
Speculation suggests that the tension stemmed from Chie’s breakup with her ex-boyfriend, Jake Cuenca, and her rumored romance with Matthew Lhuillier.

Matthew happens to be the cousin of Daniel Miranda, Sofia’s longtime partner and the father of her daughter.
Since then, Chie and Sofia have appeared to exchange subtle digs through cryptic posts on their respective social media accounts.
CHIE’S INSTAGRAM STORIES
The first Instagram Story featured a screenshot of a direct message sent to Chie by an unidentified sender.
In the message, the sender claimed that a certain “Sofia” had allegedly been contacting influencers to spread hate against the Kapamilya actress on TikTok and other social media platforms.
Chie captioned the screenshot, describing the revelation as “truly heartbreaking.”
Published as is: “I know she’s evil but didn’t expect her to go this low. I am not surprised anymore tho.”
Chie then dragged “Sofia”’s daughter into the conversation:
“But I hope and pray that the things you are doing to me now, your daughter will never experience.

“I really wish she does not feel this kind of pain. Because I will never ever do something like this, I do not want my future child to be treated the way you treat people.”
Then she warned “Sofia” about karma.
Chie wrote (published as is): “I was gonna let karma do its job—nope I am your karma. You post and act differently online but say and do completely different things behind it. You might wanna reply to my messages first before ‘reaching out’ to influencers. Grabe revaltions past few days ah.”

The fifth Story was a screenshot of a blue iMessage, supposedly one that Chie has sent to “Sofia.”
The message says: “Stop saying you feel betrayed when you are the traitor. No wonder you said ‘This is for you to figure things out and fight for yourself.’ Because you had a master plan. Wish you all the best, I truly do.”

Only one checkmark indicator is on the blue message, which means the message was sent but not delivered to the recipient.
Next was a photo of a blue Post-it note with a written message: “Darling, promise me that no matter how much pain the world gives you, never give the pain back to anyone.”
On this story was a long written caption from Chie, where she explains why she posted the Stories.
“I tried, I really did. I’m sorry, tao lang din ako,” she began.
\Masasaktan, mapupuno, at minsan sasabog. What she did was too much.”
Chie alluded that the rift has affected her family.
“I saw the effect it had on my family, okay lang sana if it were just me, trust me, I’ve heard worse. Pero iba na kapag nadadamay na sila.
“The revelations these past few weeks about what she’s been doing behind my back are unbelievable and unsettling. Holding in that much information while hurting is destructive — it took a huge toll on me and my families mental health,” she explained.

Then she talked about why she had to mention “Sofia”’s daughter in the previous Story.
“I’m not dragging the child into this. I just wish that whatever she’s doing now never happens to her own kid or to anyones kid in the future. Because this is so painful and I never wish for anyone to feel this kind of pain.
“If she keeps using the ‘mom card’ or ‘anak card’ to justify her actions, I hope she realizes that protecting your child means keeping them away from the chaos, not bringing them into it. I mean that’s what I felt and saw from my parents growing up and that’s her recent post also,” she said.
Lastly, Chie claimed that what “Sofia” was doing to her was evil, then called her a bully.
“As much as I want to do this with grace, sometimes they need a taste of their own medicine.

“But what you’re doing now is cruel, Sofia — messaging creators to throw hate on someone? That’s crossing the line. That’s evil really. I’ll never get tired of standing up for myself and the people I love because I know we did nothing wrong.
