This was a question posed by netizens after seeing Dingdong’s appearance,Ā alongside ABS-CBN executive Charo Santos-Concio, to promote their filmĀ Only We KnowĀ inĀ It’s ShowtimeĀ on June 11, 2025.
Dingdong and Charo took part in the show’s “KIDS SONA” segment, competing in a game against the duos of Vice Ganda and Karylle, Teddy Corpuz and Ryan Bang, Kim Chiu and Ion Perez, Jackie Gonzaga and Lorraine Galvez, and Jugs Jugueta and Cianne Dominguez.
Dingdong and Karylle crossing paths on the noontime show sparked chatter among netizens given the two’s romantic past.
Adding to this, netizens noticed that Marian reposted a video from a TikTok account with the handle name @notradeoff that appeared to convey a powerful message.
The clip featured Octavia St. Laurentāa black trans woman speaking out against transphobia and homophobiaāsaying: “Everything you do in life is like a boomerang. When you throw it, it eventually comes back. Don’t f*** with me.”

DID MARIAN RIVERA JUST ADDRESS THE WHOLE ISSUE?
Amid the chatter on social media, some TikTok users noticed that Marian reposted another video on her official TikTok account, subtly indicating that she’s aware of the ongoing issue.
Marian reposted a clip from a fan who showed “receipts” that the Kapuso actress reposted the video in question prior to Dingdong’s guest appearance onĀ It’s Showtime.
And it looks like it’s Marian’s way of addressing the whole thing.
MARIAN RIVERA: SELOSA ISSUE
The whole Dingdong-Karylle crossing paths onĀ It’s ShowtimeĀ has kept netizens speculating about Marian’s reaction.
As it is, Marian previously opened up about her “selosa” moments.
The Kapuso actress acknowledged that she was quite “selosa” in the past.
Marian candidly shared this during an interview with Karen Davila for a YouTube vlog dated March 20, 2025.
In the vlog, Karen asked Marian directly: “Selosa ka ba?”
The Kapuso actress quickly replied, “Nasa lugar. Very transparent. Sayang nga, e, kung puwede ko lang i-rewind, di ba?”

Karen followed up with a probing question, “So, selosa ka noon?”
To her defense, Marian underlined that she wouldn’t get jealous without a reason.
She explained: “E, kasi may dahilan. Ang babae, hindi magseselos kung walang dahilan. Nature ng babae iyan.
“Kapag may nakita kang alanganin na ginagawa ng babae doon sa partner mo, alangan naman na [palakpakan mo at sabihing], ‘Ang galing, ang sweet nila together, o, kinikilig ako.’
“My god, napakaipokrita nun. No, no, no for me.
“Kapag may sitwasyon na nakikita mong alanganin, magre-react ka talaga.”
Marian acknowleged that her mistake at the time was that she would react without even talking to Dingdong first.
Laughing, she admitted: “Ayun lang, nagre-react agad ako doon sa babae. Dapat pala [kay Dong] ako nagre-react.”
Marian did not name the women who incurred her jealousy. She mentioned that she had long since let go of those past issues and chose not to live with bitterness in her heart.
