Having watched Lil Wayne grow from a young talent into a rap titan, Snoop called him “the GOAT of New Orleans rap.” Though Wayne expressed disappointment in not being chosen to perform in his hometown, Snoop maintained a neutral position, saying, “Me and Wayne, me and Kendrick, me and Jay-Z—we’re family. I don’t know who makes the decisions, but I’ll be watching the show like everybody else.”
