Indiana Fever rookie Caitlin Clark cultivated a few deep friendships during her time as an Iowa Hawkeye.
Much has already been made about her close relationship with former teammate Kate Martin, who is now a rookie on the Las Vegas Aces.
And another one of Clark’s closest Iowa friends is Gabbie Marshall.
The two were teammates for a few seasons. And while Marshall’s basketball career has come to a close, her and Clark still seem to be quite close with one another.
On Monday, Marshall made a heartfelt Instagram post about how she, “joined forces with @cancerbrand_ to amplify awareness, educate, and create a lasting positive impact.
awareness, educate, and create a lasting positive impact.
Marshall was promoting a series of shirts that are intended to help raise funds in the fight against cancer.
And Clark made her opinion of the fundraiser very clear in the comments.

Clark had no words in her comment. Instead, she posted the pink heart emoji.

It’s cool to see Clark showing her support for Marshall in this way.
And considering that humanitarian that Clark has proven herself to be, we wouldn’t be surprised if the rookie sensation is also making her impact felt with a charitable donation to Marshall’s “We Cancervive” fund.
