“His first catch was a touchdown, and the play was called ‘Taylor Swift,’ so you can’t really beat that to start your NFL scoring career, so he was stoked about it,” said Kingsbury, who joked that the team has a “bunch” of other plays named after pop stars.

When asked why the play was named after Swift, Kingsbury revealed that the tight ends came up with the name, jokingly telling reporters, “You’d have to ask them, but I think he [Sinnott] must like Taylor Swift on a deeper level.”

“It was kind of just a group consensus. So, yeah, it’s one I won’t ever… I won’t ever forget, at least. So it’s pretty funny,” he said.

Recalling how he felt when he heard the play being called, he told reporters that his “heart kind of started pounding when I heard it, but I was excited and took advantage of it.”
