*A great woman may be behind every great man, but 50 Cent is keeping that space to himself. Citing a recent appearance on “The Late Show With Stephen Colbert, Face2Face Africa detailed the G-Unit general’s reasons for embracing celibacy versus a dating experience filled with multiple members of the opposite sex.

To hear 50 tell it, it comes down to keeping your “focus” without the ladies.

“Listen, when you calm down you can focus,” the 49-year-old “In da Club” entertainer said about his current sex-free status. “I’ve been good to me.”

50 Cent’s sex-free state of mind comes as he reportedly nears becoming a billionaire. Over the years, 50 has built an empire consisting of multiple forays involving music (G-Unit Records), television (Starz’s “Power” universe), film production (G-Unit Films, Cheetah Vision), book publishing (G-Unit Books) and investments (real estate, mining, boxing promotion, fashion), among a slew of others.

With such success, it would not be a surprise if 50 capped it off by being involved with someone he can share it all with. Yet, the “I Got Money” hitmaker is solid with self-elevation.

No significant other was included.

His reason?

“[Money is] when things start getting complicated, things start getting confusing ‘cause people come in for different reasons,” the rhymesayer shared with Colbert.

He added: “If you go on a date but you have no interest in anything, I can see you now. I said, ‘God damn, girl, you fine, but you ain’t got nothing going on,” he continued.

Furthering his point, 50 mentioned that romantic desire “absolutely” clouds judgment for “most men.” As a result, an unmarried state is what he feels is best for him.

“I am safe. I’m not a happy hostage. I’m here. I’m free,” said 50 laughingly said. “I made some mistakes, just not that one.”

So what does 50 Cent do with his time without an apple of his eye occupying his mind?

Spending time in the gym, to go along with an evening routine that Colbert predicted would consist of “just going home, watching Wheel of Fortune on TiVo, having a warm milk and going to bed, putting on your night shirt and cap.”

“You make it sound like the worst thing ever,” the “Get Rich or Die Tryin’” actor responded, with Colbert confessing his joke stemmed from a desire to see 50 find love. “I want someone I can love in my life too, just not right now,” 50 responded. “I’m fine.”
