Legendary shortstop Alex Rodriguez’s girlfriend, Jaclyn Cordeiro, is a well-known fitness expert. The 44-year-old is popular on Instagram, frequently posting fitness and lifestyle-related content for her 138,000 followers.

As a source of inspiration for fitness enthusiasts, Cordeiro makes sure to practice what she preaches, making it a point to never skip a workout despite her hectic professional schedule. On Tuesday, she posted a video to her Instagram story, showcasing a “Christmas lower body cable workout.”

In the video, Cordeiro performs nine leg exercises: cable donkey kickbacks, table-top donkey kickbacks, cable hip abduction/adduction, cable hip thrusts, cable glute pull-throughs, standing cable rope squats and cable inversion leg curls. When performed in a slow and controlled fashion as Cordeiro demonstrated, the workout exercises all major leg muscles such as the glutes, hamstrings and quads.

Jaclyn Cordeiro’s fitness know-how also benefitted Alex Rodriguez’s fitness journey. When Cordeiro and Rodriguez first met, shortly after A-Rod’s split with pop star Jennifer Lopez, the 14-time All-Star found himself having gained weight after his retirement from the big leagues in 2016.

However, under Cordeiro’s tutelage, he got back on track, losing 32 pounds.

To celebrate Thanksgiving, Alex Rodriguez enjoyed a hearty meal with close friends and family, including his girlfriend, Jaclyn Cordeiro. The 49-year-old later shared a series of snaps on Instagram as the couple counted their blessings in the presence of their loved ones.

“Thankful to be surrounded by this beautiful group of family and friends. So proud of our blended family, staying together through thick and thin. ❤️,” Alex Rodriguez captioned his Instagram post

Also present at the celebration were A-Rod’s ex-wife, Cynthia Scurtis, and his two daughters, Natasha and Ella. Reportedly, Jaclyn Cordeiro, who has two daughters from a previous marriage, named Bella and Savannah, gets along well with A-Rod’s daughters as well.
