Seth Rogen appears to have confirmed claims that actress Emma Watson once walked off set after refusing to shoot a rude scene.

The 38-year-old actor, who co-wrote and starred in the 2013 movie This Is the End alongside Emma, has revealed that he had ‘no hard feelings’ against the Harry Potter star after she allegedly stormed off.

The scene in question is reported to have featured Danny McBride turning to cannibalism while holding Channing Tatum – who was wearing a leather mask – on a leash.

According to a Tumblr profile that belonged to an extra that had worked on set, Emma refused to film the uncomfortable scene.

Rogen appears to have confirmed that this actually happened when quizzed by British GQ about the claims.

“I mean, I don’t look back on that and think, ‘How dare she do that?’ You know? I think sometimes when you read something, when it comes to life it doesn’t seem to be what you thought it was,” he recently said in an interview with GQ Magazine.

He added: “But it was not some terrible ending to our relationship,” he added. “She came back the next day to say goodbye. She helped promote the film. No hard feelings and I couldn’t be happier with how the film turned out in the end.”

Seth also hinted that the original scene was not what eventually made the cut, saying: “She was probably right. It was probably funnier the way we ended up doing it.”

A representative for Emma has been approached by The Mirror for comment.

The 2013 film – penned by Seth and Evan Goldberg – centres on the story of six A-list celebrities that get caught up in the apocalypse.

The latest revelation came after it was widely reported earlier this year that Emma had actually retired from acting, over two decades after she shot to fame in the Harry Potter franchise.
