Zion Williamson cannot catch a break on or off the court.
The New Orleans Pelicans star forward’s hamstring injury doesn’t appear to be progressing much amid his month-long absence.

In the meantime, his name was buzzing this week after an Instagram comment section was shared to X.
On one side, there was a picture of Sydney Thomas, the new social media star since her appearance in the ring during the Tyson-Paul boxing match. The picture showed her in a see-through shirt while posing at Allegiant Stadium to take in a Raiders game in Las Vegas.
The second picture showed Zion Williamson in her comment section saying, “Check you’re DM shorty.”
Sydney replied right afterwards savagely, saying, “Huh?? Who are you calling shorty? I’m good…enjoy ur recovery.”
The only problem with this interaction between Zion Williamson and Sydney Thomas is that it is completely fake.
Here is how social media reacted:
“enjoy ur recovery😭😭😭,” one fan stated.
“Zion shooting his shot,” as one fan posted a funny video.
“When you play like Zion, you’re always taking shots at something or someone,” one X user added.
One fan commented: “Zion taking shots like he’s in the game 🏀.”
“Damn that man has no game 🤣👑,” another fan stated, who did not realize that the interaction was faked.
One final fan had a message for the Pelicans star: “Dming a 304, you are Zion F– king Williamson!!!!!! Don’t do something so stupid. Now she can brag about it. Have some respect for yourself.”
Zion Williamson Continues To Miss Games Due To Injury
