NHL star Patrik Laine and his fiancee Jordan Leigh have officially moved into their new Montreal home following Laine’s recent trade to the Canadiens. However, their excitement was briefly dampened by an unexpected problem.
On Tuesday, Jordan shared the couple’s move-in day on her Instagram stories. In the first picture, she posted a photo of their stylish living room. The cozy space featured a large white sectional, a sleek TV, and a plush Stewie Griffin toy perched on a golf bag.
“Moving into our Montreal home today! So excited to officially be settled 🤍,” Jordan Leigh captioned.

However, not everything went smoothly. In another story, Jordan posted a short clip of her and Laine stuck in the dark, locked out of their new home due to a power outage. She humorously wrote:
“Insta vs reality: locked out of our new place in the dark with all these groceries because the power is out and we only have a fob to get in.

Despite the hiccup, Jordan Leigh and Patrik Laine appeared in good spirits, flashing a thumbs-up to the camera.
Patrik Laine and Nick Suzuki’s families celebrated Canadian Thanksgiving together
Patrik Laine and his fiancée Jordan Leigh recently celebrated their first Canadian Thanksgiving in Montreal. The event was hosted by Laine’s Montreal Canadiens teammate, Nick Suzuki, and Suzuki’s fiancee Caitlin Fitzgerald.

She captioned one of her posts, “Phone ate first,” as she shared pictures of the beautifully prepared food. Caitlin Fitzgerald also posted moments from the dinner tagging Chef Tony Rinaldi, who had prepared the turkey.
Joining their Thanksgiving celebration was Habs defenseman Arber Xhekaj’s girlfriend Stephanie Kielb, who also shared a photo of the charcuterie board on Instagram.
Jordan Leigh’s weekend didn’t stop at Thanksgiving. She attended Sabrina Carpenter’s concert at the Bell Centre the night before. Carpenter’s tour, supporting her album ‘Short n’ Sweet’, made a stop in Montreal, and Leigh shared clips from the performance on her social media.
As for Laine, he remains sidelined due to his knee sprain that he suffered during a preseason game against the Toronto Maple Leafs. The player is expected to recover within two to three months and return to the ice for the Habs.
