The Game Says He Feels Machiпe Gυп Kelly Woп Emiпem Rap Battle (L)

The Eminem and Machine Gun Kelly feud of last year was a contentious one, leaving many fans divided over who emerged victorious. Yet, according to The Game, the verdict is clear.

In an interview on Real 92.3 LA, the rapper expressed his belief that MGK came out on top. “Em did what I expected Em to do, but nothing to catch up into where hip-hop is today,” Game remarked around the 15:35 mark. “I feel like Machine Gun Kelly really gave his all, like a young, hungry dude did. Eminem was Eminem-it was great. Before I heard Machine Gun Kelly, I was like, ‘Oh Eminem.'”

The feud ignited when Eminem dropped his surprise album Kamikaze last August, taking shots at MGK (and others) on the track “Not Alike.” In response, MGK fired back with “Rap Devil,” mocking Em’s Rap God persona. Eminem retaliated swiftly with “Kill Shot.” Despite differing opinions on the battle’s outcome, “Rap Devil” garnered acclaim for its entertainment value, while “Kill Shot” made history on YouTube, premiering with the most debut views for a rap video.

Beyond the feud, The Game delved into his own musical endeavors during the interview, discussing his extensive work on his latest album, Born 2 Rap, including collaborating with Dr. Dre on the track “Welcome Home,” featuring Nipsey Hussle.

The contentious feud between Eminem and Machine Gun Kelly may have ended, but its impact on hip-hop remains a topic of debate among fans and artists alike.
