LeBron James has always been vocal about supporting his elder son, Bronny James, especially as the latter faces criticism in his journey to the NBA. When the Los Angeles Lakers selected Bronny as the No. 55 overall pick in the 2024 NBA Draft, many fans were quick to speculate that LeBron’s influence played a significant role in his son’s entry into the league. This led to trolling and skepticism about Bronny’s capabilities as a player.

However, LeBron, being a proud father, did not hesitate to defend his son publicly. LeBron posted a video of Bronny’s training on his Instagram account, sending a powerful message aimed at the critics. He made it clear that he fully believes in Bronny’s potential and work ethic.

Keep working, kid, and (expletive) all the hate/noise! You know your personal legend! THEY DON’T KNOW YOU!” LeBron wrote in the caption.

LeBron has long expressed his desire to play alongside his son in the NBA. Despite this dream, Bronny’s performance during the Summer League was not as strong as many had hoped. Hence, his place on the Lakers’ main roster for the upcoming season remains uncertain.

LeBron James Set to Establish Another NBA Record

LeBron James is entering his 22nd season in the league. Throughout his career, James established and tarnished several records. The Los Angeles Lakers’ star is on the verge of establishing another record in his twilight.

The Los Angeles Lakers star is just 1,364 points away from becoming the first player in NBA history to reach 50,000 total career points, including regular season and playoff games.

Last season, James added 1,984 points to his already stellar career, bringing his total to 48,636 points. This includes 40,474 points from regular season games and 8,162 points from the postseason.

The Lakers will begin their 2024-2025 NBA season with a highly anticipated Opening Night matchup against the Minnesota Timberwolves on October 22. All eyes will be on LeBron as he inches closer to making history again.
