Edmonton Oilers captain Connor McDavid’s wife, Lauren Kyle, recently shared a glimpse of their Canadian Thanksgiving celebration. Quite like Habs forward Patrik Laine’s fiancee Jordan Leigh, Kyle gave fans a peek into their traditional Thanksgiving dinner on social media.

On Sunday, Lauren Kyle posted pictures of their beautifully decorated dinner table set with autumn-themed dishes and candles on her Instagram stories. The meal seemed to have all the classic Thanksgiving favorites like turkey, roasted vegetables, cranberry sauce and sweet potato casserole.

In the first picture, Lauren shared a snap of their dining table elegantly set and decorated by autumn-themed wooden candle holders with lit yellow candles. The plates were neatly stacked with folded gray napkins and the table was set with small decorative pumpkins and a rustic table runner.

“Thankful 🍂🍁🧡”, Lauren Kyle wrote in the caption of the image.

In another image, she showed more of their Thanksgiving meal. There was a large serving dish of sliced turkey on one side, accompanied by roasted vegetables in another dish. The final story featured a glass of red wine beside a serving dish of cranberry sauce and a sweet potato casserole topped with pecans.

Oilers superstars Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl share awesome chemistry on and off the ice. The same can be said of their partners, Lauren Kyle and Celeste Desjardins.

Lauren and Celeste too have been longtime friends and they often attend the Oilers games together. Both were present during the Edmonton Oilers home opener at the Rogers’ Arena, which they lost 6-0 with quite a beating from the Winnipeg Jets, where captain Connor McDavid failed to even register a single shot at the net.

Earlier last week, Lauren Kyle posted an adorable reel video with Celeste Desjardins on her Instagram account. The video features some of the best moments of the two friends together.

“Here’s to another season with my best friend,” Lauren Kyle wrote in the caption.

Earlier in late September, they attended the Canadian Finals Rodeo in Edmonton, where Lauren shared glimpses of the thrilling Steer Wrestling competition and beautifully saddled horses. Earlier in the month, they had another outing together at a CFL game to watch the Edmonton Elks play.

Both Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl have had an eventful summer. McDavid tied the knot with his longtime girlfriend Lauren Kyle in a Musoka destination wedding, while Draisaitl proposed to Desjardins in Spain.
