Gerrit Cole had a storybook ending to his heroic night on the mound, which led the Yankees to a 3-1 victory over the Royals in an ALDS-clinching victory Thursday night.

The six-time MLB All-Star kissed his wife Amy Cole on the field at Kauffman Stadium in Kansas City after he led the Yankees back to the ALCS, as seen in a photo she posted on her Instagram Story.

“ALCS bound,” Amy wrote, adding a champagne bottle emoji.

Cole, the reigning Cy Young Award winner, had a strong night on the mound, holding the Royals to a single run over seven innings.

“It was a great battle,” he said in his postgame press conference. “Just a great battle.”

Cole — who signed massive nine-year, $324 million contract with the New York Yankees in December 2019 — yielded just six hits to improve to 11-6 with a 2.94 career postseason ERA.

“I’m fired up,” he said. “Had a couple IPAs with the boys, spraying some champagne. This is the greatest!”

The Yankees will play the Guardians or Tigers in the ALCS beginning Monday night at Yankee Stadium.

Game 5 of that ALDS will be Saturday night in Cleveland.
