After being quizzed about her infamous ex-boyfriend, Jennifer Lopez abruptly called off an autograph signing event following a screening of her new movie ‘Unstoppable’ at AFI Fest.

 Jennifer Lopez, 55, attended the AFI FEST 2024 “Unstoppable” screening and Q&A in Los Angeles before signing autographs. However, what was supposed to be a fan-engagement activity quickly turned sour as attendees began peppering her with questions about ex-boyfriend P. Diddy, who is currently embroiled in serious legal issues.

In a video capturing the incident, a fan approached Lopez and inquired, “JLo, do you have any comments about Diddy and the allegations?” To which the star immediately stopped signing autographs and walked away, ignoring the requests of fans who urged her to stay.

Jennifer and Diddy were one of the most high-profile couples from the late nineties to early 2000s, with their relationship lasting from 1999 to 2001. Reflecting on their romance, Jennifer once described it as “tempestuous” and “emotionally exhausting.” She explained the couple broke up several times before their final split, mostly due to Diddy’s infidelities.

Jennifer’s first husband, Ojani Noa, who blames Diddy for their split, recently said, “part of that divorce” was the hip-hop mogul’s “fault.” According to Noa, as Jennifer’s career was launching, Diddy was deeply involved, exacerbating tensions in their marriage.

An added layer of complexity arises from the fact that Diddy referred to their relationship as a marriage and reportedly asked for a “divorce” multiple times. Jennifer revealed to Rolling Stone in 2001, “He told me many times, ‘I want a divorce.’ ”

Despite the public scrutiny and her occasional comments in the past, Jennifer is determined to keep their details “sacred and private.”

Diddy is currently in jail, awaiting trial for sex trafficking and racketing charges. He’s hit with multiple lawsuits with the latest one alleging sexual assault against a 13-year-old girl. Diddy allegedly assaulted the girl with another male star while a female celebrity watched. Diddy has categorically denied these allegations, with his attorneys stating they are “clear attempts to garner publicity.”

Jennifer Lopez has consistently chosen to remain silent on the subject, understandably focusing on her personal well-being and upcoming projects amidst a climate of heavy scrutiny and serious accusations directed toward her former partner.
