You may or may not be a bodybuilding fan, but there’s one man that has everyone’s attention, and that’s -Ronnie Coleman. The BSc accounting student never intended to join the professional world of bodybuilding. Happy with his role in the Police Department, the offer of a “free gym membership” lured Ronnie into the profession.

In an unearthed video, which was uploaded back in 2012, fans get a surprise treat as they see the younger Ronnie. But it’s not just the footage of the 8x Mr. Olympia champion working that caught the fan’s attention. Seeing the young Ronnie, the fans quickly remembered another American icon. Who? Let’s find out!

Fans find a resemblance in Ronnie Coleman’s video

As the video plays out, the scrutinizing eyes of the fans are quick to notice young Ronnie resembles none but Mike Tyson. Yes, you read that right, the legendary American boxing star. Happy to notice the resemblance, one user commented, “He is like Mike Tyson’s brother. Look at his voice, and his face is just more oval.”

Taking quick in the comments section, one user wrote, “Mike Tyson’s lost brother, hahaha.” Coming from two different sporting backgrounds, the two contemporaries were undeniably one of the best in their respective fields. While complimenting Ronnie for his achievements, one of the comments read, “He is the Mike Tyson of Bodybuilding.”

Another fan wrote, “crazy how he looks and sounds like young Mike Tyson.” Expressing further, the fan said, I guess great beings are born alike.” However, it was not just the look that caught the attention when the fans found Ronnie’s voice similar to Tyson’s. Elaborating the same, one user wrote, “He got Mike Tyson’s mannerisms in this interview, never really noticed that.” Though the two stars never formally met, if they ever cross each other paths, they already have a topic to discuss.

What’s Ronnie Coleman up to these days?

It’s been years since Ronnie bid adieu to professional bodybuilding. He may not now look the same, but he still has the same baby-Esque smile. Throughout his professional career, Ronnie had to face multiple medical emergencies. With 13 surgeries, the bodybuilding legend was time and again tested.
