Serious turn of events with Edmonton Oilers forward Corey Perry
“Good things happen when you put Corey Perry in the lineup and no body wants to admit that”
Said a fan.
A major turn of events happened for former Chicago Blackhawks forward Corey Perry just a few weeks ago when he was seen out of the lineup for the Edmonton Oilers versus Vancouver Canucks series, which also led in him being out of the lineup and being sat in the press box for each and every game in the Dallas Stars series until the Oilers realized that they needed the 2007 Stanley Cup champion and veteran presents in their lineup.
inserted into the game 5 lineup, the team and Perry’s line actually pulled a win, showing much promise with an assist on the first goal of the game for Edmonton, he was on the teams second line with Leon Draisaitl and Ryan McLeod.
Perry was told he was found out the morning prior to puck drop that he would be in the lineup, according to him:
This is a major turn of events for Corey Perry, as retirement is likely after this season ends for him, and many thought he’d be retiring as a healthy scratch on the sidelines- now he’ll be retiring as a lineup player as he showed his promise in the first game back of being in the lineup.
Perry and the Oilers look to secure a big game 6 win tonight in Dallas at 8:30PM EST.
