LeBron James and DJ Clark Kent shared a special sneaker bond

LeBron James and DJ Clark Kent shared a special sneaker bond along with a great friendship. Once a year, Kent displayed his creativity outside of the musical world by partnering with Nike to release a special Clark Kent edition of LeBron James’ signature shoes. These shoes were not for retail and were exclusive to family and close friends.

One of their collaborations included the DJ Clark Kent x Nike LeBron 7 “112,” which was exclusive to friends and family. Kent collaborated again with Nike to release LeBron 8 “Denim” James Dean. Complex interviewed Kent and asked him about King James’ reaction to receiving the sneakers.

“When LeBron got the sneakers, he loved them. They were just for him and his crew. He said they were dope, he said he loved them and that they were crazy. Rich Paul who runs LeBron’s marketing company said they were dope too. He said, ‘Bron loves these, brah.’ The denim was for their crew to rock in the fall,” Kent said.

In 2019, James sported the Travis Scott x Nike Air Force 1 Low “Tie Dye” customs that Kent had gifted him.
