The confidential report, leaked minutes after its official release, identified six prominent public figures allegedly connected to a covert network tied to financial harassment, data manipulation, and evidence tampering surrounding Vu’s death. The final 94-page government report — now viral across all major platforms — identified six individuals allegedly tied to “unexplained financial transactions” connected to Vu Meng Long’s final consultancy project, Project Helios, a renewable-energy initiative worth ₱87 billion.

Lyra’s name ignited the storm. The 31-year-old actress, known for her humanitarian work and sharp public image, is adored across Asia. Her sudden connection to an economic scandal surrounding a suspicious death seemed almost unthinkable.
Within an hour, the hashtag #LyraInTheSix dominated X (formerly Twitter). Fan groups initially called the report “defamation” and “AI-fabricated nonsense,” but official confirmation from the DOJ’s media liaison silenced most doubts.
“Yes, her name appears in the official document,” confirmed DOJ Spokesperson Regina Cortez in a live press conference.
“The department does not make premature judgments, but we owe transparency to the Filipino people.”
The Actress Responds
