Leaving Her Beach Home for Safety and Treatment
Kris shared that she will leave the private beach property that served as her temporary home for nearly two months. This move aims to ensure her safety while undergoing strong medications designed to control her life-threatening autoimmune conditions.
“There may be no tomorrow for me,” Kris bravely confessed.
She admitted the difficulty of facing each night with the fear that she might not wake up the next day.
“Trust me it’s difficult to accept every night when I sleep that there may be no tomorrow for me.”
Kris also explained her long absence from social media, saying she struggled to share the serious developments in her health.
“On purpose matagal akong hindi nag-upload. I have to admit if I told you what was happening, some of you may stop praying because my autoimmune diseases were increasing in number…”
Moving to Tarlac for Intensive Treatment and Isolation
After weeks at a beach house owned by a kind family, Kris decided to relocate to Alto, the Cojuangco family compound in Tarlac. Here, she will receive powerful immunosuppressant infusions aimed at “wiping out” her immunity.
“I came to a decision… I have another 6-8 hour infusion session in 6 days, it’s one of the strongest autoimmune immunosuppressants… I will be in preventive isolation for 6 months.”
The isolation is crucial to protect her from infections due to her compromised immune system.
