“Stay with him. Stay with him Jaden. Stay on his a** Jaden! Damn Curry! That’s what we want,” Edwards was heard shouting in a leaked video as the game intensified. Later, as Gary Payton II tried to stop Edwards from getting his shot in and failing, Ant directed his attention to the crowd.
“Yea! Yea! Take your a** home! Go home!” he screamed to the Warriors fans. And right then, Steph passed him by and Edwards took the opportunity to shout “Yea!” in the 4x champ’s face, too. Curry, for his part, responded, “Right back!” no doubt, referring to tonight’s rematch.
Now, this exchange is certainly not a budding rivalry or anything of the sort. But everybody following Anthony Edwards would know that the 23-year-old just cannot stop himself from getting into the skin when faced with the best in the game! Furthermore, it highlights the competitiveness that defines both of these players. While not as loud or boisterous as our friendly neighborhood ANT-MAN, there is no denying Stephen Curry is just as competitive.
Ultimately, it was a moment that showcased the young guard’s fearless personality. But it’s not just all talk. The Wolves star has immense respect for the ‘Bay Area God,’ especially when it comes to his game.

Curry’s response was candid and insightful, revealing the bond between the two. “Yeah, it’s a brotherhood, especially when you play with guys, get to know them, spend some time with them like I did this summer. I don’t want to give him too much of the knowledge, but you want to give back a little bit of the wisdom that you gained over the course of your career and from the three-point line, he’s actually — he’s obviously figured it out this year. … he’s evolved even more than he already has early in his career,” Steph pointed out appreciatively.
