Taylor Swift Fans Banned From Gathering Outside Wembley To Worship Singer Amid Safety Fears

Ticketless Taylor Swift fans will be moved on if they congregate outside Wembley Stadium when she returns to London with her Eras Tour this week.

In a notice on its website, Wembley said: “No one is allowed to stand outside any entrance or on the Olympic Steps at the front of the stadium. Non ticket holders will be moved on.”

The edict comes after security has been increased for the UK dates after Swift’s three Vienna concerts were canceled this month amid an alleged bomb plot. Camping also has been prohibited at the stadium.

London’s Metropolitan Police has said that there has been “nothing to indicate” a similar threat against the Wembley concerts.

Swifties are well-known for gathering outside stadiums to worship the “Shake It Off” singer, even if they do not have a ticket to enter the show.

Swift is doing five nights at Wembley, having played three gigs at the famous arena in June, performing to around 90,000 ticketholders on each night.

“Wembley Stadium wants Taylor Swift fans to have ‘The Best Day’ when the American superstar brings The Eras Tour to London,” Wembley said. “Everyone will be checked before entry, and we don’t want any ‘Bad Blood’ – we’d hate to have to turn you away.”
