Alongside “Harry Potter” Daniel Radcliffe and “Ron Weasley” Rupert Grint, the intelligent “Hermione,” portrayed by Emma Watson, formed the talented golden trio of Gryffindor.
According to Emma Watson, she once threatened Warner Bros that she would quit filming Harry Potter if the studio didn’t adjust the shooting schedule to better accommodate her schooling. Emma placed a high value on her education, and if the studio ignored her request, she was prepared to not renew her contract for the final two films.
Previously, Emma Watson had often expressed her love for education. From 2009 to 2014, she attended and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in English Literature from the prestigious Brown University in the U.S. At the age of 33, she continues to pursue her studies and has participated in a creative writing program at the University of Oxford in the UK.
Emma mentioned during the filming of Harry Potter: “I was like a nuisance to Warner Bros, as they always had difficulty scheduling shoots for me. To be honest, I had to struggle a lot to get those words on paper.”
Indeed, Hermione has stepped out from the books 🥰
