The Florida Panthers steal and sign a forward from the Chicago Blackhawks (L)

The Florida Panthers make a huge signing today as the Stanley Cup Champions have signed former Blackhawks forward, Mackenzie Entwistle.

The Panthers signed depth forward Entwistle to a one-year, two-way deal to fill out their depth core.

Entwistle primarily was a defensive and checking forward for the Blackhawks, and played 67 games with the team last year posting 11 points( 5 G, 6 A).

Entwistle has played 193 NHL games during his professional career, posting 35 points( 15 G, 20 A) in Chicago, while posting 39 points( 15 G, 24 A) while in AHL Rockford.

The depth forward was a third round pick in 2017 by the Arizona Coyotes, and played four years in the OHL before turning pro.

All of the former #Blackhawks are getting new gigs today. Good for Mackenzie. Another really good dude
