The video released by Spittin’ Chiclets on X showcased Vasilevskiy’s dedication to nurturing the next generation of hockey talent.
However, the camp sparked a humorous response from NHL fans on social media. One jokingly commented,

Andrei Vasilevskiy’s impressive career speaks for itself. Drafted 19th overall by the Vasilevskiy was drafted 19th overall by the Lightning in the 2012 NHL Entry Draft. He played a crucial role in the their back-to-back Stanley Cup championships in 2020 and 2021.

Andrei Vasilevskiy reflected on the team’s disappointing playoff exit last season during his end-of-season media availability in May. The Lightning were eliminated by the Florida Panthers in the first round in five games.
“Every season is a lesson, good season, bad season, so you always have to take something positive out of it. Andrei Vasilevskiy said.
“And again the whole season for me and for the team,itI was such a roller coaster where I thought, the team especially I was the big part of it were a little inconsistent, and it show you know in the playoffs we played against such a probably the most consistent team in the NHL this season.”
Vasilevskiy took responsibility for the Lightning’s inconsistent play throughout the season that eventually led to the early playoff exit.
“It’s all about consistency in this league and yeah just you know even though we have a have a lot of lots of new guys.
“I thought we were we showed a little bit of you know pride in us in that playoffs, but again we have to work all of us, and obviously me big time, so to you know to get better out together as a team.” he said.
The Lightning goaltender knows he needs to improve his consistency as the team looks to bounce back next season.
