Spanish police measured the decibel levels during Taylor Swift’s concert at Bernabeu Stadium after dozens of local residents complained about the noise affecting their lives.

In a press conference on May 30th (local time), the Madrid authorities stated they had received 25 complaints from residents following Taylor Swift’s performance on the evening of May 29th.
Although the police did not disclose the specific decibel readings, Spanish media reported experts recorded levels of 80 decibels, well above the permitted 53 decibels set by the authorities for a concert venue.
The police reported the issue to the local authorities and passed on the spokesperson role to them.
A spokesperson for the Madrid city government stated that administrative penalties would be imposed on Taylor Swift (the concert organizer) for exceeding the noise limits.
Taylor Swift’s recent concert at Santiago Bernabéu Stadium attracted around 65,000 fans.
