The British singer-songwriter recently revealed that he no longer uses Twitter because he is tired of negative comments.

“I really cut myself off from Twitter. I can’t read anymore,” The Sun newspaper on July 3 quoted Ed as saying. “I went in to look and saw nothing but mean things people said.”
According to the 26-year-old male singer, those negative words can ruin his whole day. The owner of the hit song Shape of You also said he wants to “live real life” with his family and friends rather than be bothered by comments in the virtual world.

This explanation came after he was criticized by many for not using a band on stage like other artists.
At the music night, Ed “took the stage” by himself while playing music and singing a series of hits such as Shape Of You, Galway Girl, Lego House, The A-Team…
Many people believe that Ed uses pre-recorded music and “pretends” like he is playing music on stage, while Ed claims that he performs live with the support of a device called a loop station.
“So who plays all those instruments, is it pre-recorded?” one person wrote on Twitter, while another criticized “Where is Ed Sheeran’s band? Glastonbury is supposed to have live music, not singing on pre-recorded music like that.”
However, many people also stood up for Ed and said that he could play multiple instruments at the same time thanks to the loop station device.
For his part, Ed just wrote “that’s a loop station, not pre-recorded background music, please Google”.
