The process of covering old tattoos with black ink by Machine Gun Kelly involved seven sessions without painkillers.

Megan Fox's fiancé Machine Gun Kelly divides fans with major tattoo transformation | HELLO!

On April 1st, Machine Gun Kelly posted a video on his personal page documenting the process of getting a full chest black tattoo. In the video, the rapper can be heard occasionally crying out in pain, and there is even blood flowing down his arm. To complete this extensive tattoo, Machine Gun Kelly underwent seven sessions over a period of two weeks. After the tattooing, Megan Fox’s fiancé sat in a hyperbaric oxygen chamber to speed up his recovery.

Regarding her fiancé’s tattoo, Megan noted that because the new tattoo covers the old ones, the level of pain would be increased. However, according to Megan, Kelly did not use any painkillers during the process.

“I don’t know how many people can endure that kind of pain. It’s like an upgraded version of all the tattoos combined. I think it’s truly elegant and ahead of its time. I think in ten years, it will be a trend. To me, it feels like he is going through a spiritual initiation, and that space needs to be respected, so I didn’t need to be there,” Megan said about why she was only present for one of the tattoo sessions.

Machine Gun Kelly previously had numerous colorful tattoos on his chest and arms. The singer explained on Instagram that the reason he covered up the old tattoos with black ink was for “spiritual purposes.” However, some sources claim that Megan Fox was the main reason Machine decided to get this full chest black tattoo. “He told Megan that the main reason he got this black tattoo was not only for spiritual reasons but also to show her that he can do anything for her. He wanted Megan to know that their bodies are like one and to clear up any misunderstandings about his previous tattoos,” said the source.

According to tattoo artist Roxx, Machine Gun Kelly mentioned that he found the old tattoos very “chaotic” and no longer fitting for the present. The tattoo artist described Machine Gun Kelly as the most particular client she has encountered in her 30 years of work and confirmed that this tattoo is permanent.
