The mesmerising act, performed during the annual function of Poornaprajna College in Udupi, has left social media users in awe.
The now-viral video, shared on Instagram and YouTube by Srikrishna Revankar, features the student dressed in his college uniform, performing Sheeran’s romantic ballad with a melodious voice.
Just when the audience was drawn into his singing, he brought out a flute and played the song’s iconic tune, turning the performance into a treat for the ears.
The caption in the video reads: “‘Prefect’ delivering perfectly,” and viewers couldn’t agree more.
