Justin Timberlake hit the links this week to relax a bit between his tour stops.
The “Mirrors” singer, 43, took some time out for a quick game with a pal in lower Manhattan on Thursday, June 27. He was photographed on a casual stroll to the golf facility wearing a vintage Grateful Dead t-shirt, blue basketball shorts and a baseball hat, topping off his low-key fit with shades.
Golfing is one of Timberlake’s favorite pastimes, as he took part in a special celebrity game during the PGA Tour’s 2023 World Wide Technology Championship in Mexico. He’s also pals with golf champion Tiger Woods, with whom he opened a sports bar in New York City last year.
The “SexyBack” performer played back-to-back shows at N.Y.C.’s Madison Square Garden this week and is set to resume his Forget Tomorrow World Tour at Boston’s TD Garden on June 29 and 30.
The slate of shows follows the “Selfish” singer’s June 18 arrest in Long Island, where he was booked by Sag Harbor police on DWI charges after a night out with friends at the American Hotel.
According to Timberlake’s arrest report obtained by PEOPLE, an officer saw the Grammy winner’s 2025 BMW drive through a stop sign and “fail to keep on the right side of the roadway” while on routine patrol. The officer initiated a traffic stop and claimed that Timberlake’s “eyes were bloodshot and glassy, a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage was emanating from his breath, he was unable to divide attention, he had slowed speech, he was unsteady afoot and he performed poorly on all standardized field sobriety tests.”

Timberlake was charged with one count of driving while intoxicated and two citations, one for running a stop sign and one for failure to keep in lane. The singer’s virtual court hearing is set for July 26 — the same day as his tour stop in Kraków, Poland. His lawyer will attend in his place.
In a statement to PEOPLE on June 19, Timberlake’s attorney, Edward Burke Jr., said, “Mr. Burke looks forward to vigorously defending Mr. Timberlake against these allegations. He will have a lot to say at the appropriate time. He is currently awaiting full discovery from the DA’s office.”
Earlier this week, a source told PEOPLE Timberlake and his wife, Jessica Biel — with whom he shares sons Silas and Phineas — are focused on other matters following his arrest. The insider added, “They have faith in their legal team and continue to focus on work and their family instead.”
Said source also noted that Biel continues to support her husband amid his world tour as she works on her upcoming Prime Video series, The Better Sister. “They’re always supportive of each other’s careers,” they added. “Jess would never miss a show when she’s able to attend. She’s excited for him. They’ve moved on from the arrest.”
