Chris Brown Documentary ‘A History Of Violence’ Heating Up With New Accuser
Chris Brown’s new documentary about past abuse allegations premiering in October

Chris Brown is under new scrutiny as a new documentary is set to be released in October and will feature a new accuser.
The R&B singer has faced abused accusations since the 2009 incident where he assaulted then-girlfriend Rihanna leaving her with severe injuries to her face. Chris Brown’s image has never fully recovered from that incident despite his massive success in music and his attempts to rehabilitate how the public views him. Breezy constantly deals with backlash on social media with folks labeling him an abuser.
A new documentary, Chris Brown: A History of Violence, is set to be premiered on Investigation Discovery on October 27, a little less than a month from now, The Hollywood Reporter reported on Monday (September 30). The network released a one-and-a-half-minute trailer for the documentary which features a new woman accusing Brown of domestic violence.
“Chris Brown’s an amazing and talented musician, but let’s call a thing a thing. He’s an abuser of women. Consistently, unapologetically,” a woman narrates the opening of the trailer.

Aside from the Rihanna incident, Brown has faced accusations from other women over the years including from his ex-girlfriend Karruache Tran, who at one point got a restraining order against the singer. Producers of the documentary are also claiming that they have a new woman who stepped forward with a detail encounter with the singer.
“With expert and cultural commentary layered throughout, the documentary provides thoughtful reflections into each survivor’s experience and the psychological destruction in the aftermath of their abuse,” the film’s producers said in a statement.
Chris Brown and rapper Yella Beezy were sued for $50 million over the summer following an alleged incident in which the artists and their crew beat up four men at one of their shows. TMZ reported that the men, Charles Bush, Da Marcus Powell, Larry Parker, and Joseph Lewis, said they were invited backstage at Brown’s 11:11 Tour stop in Fortworth, Texas on July 20 where the alleged assault went down.
Charles Bush stated that he met Brown and the interaction started out positive before going south when one of the singer’s crew members asked him if he didn’t remember that he and the singer were beefing. That’s when Breezy then turned to him and confirmed the feud. “Oh yeah, we were. What’s up, n—-? I don’t forget sh–,” the singer allegedly said.
Bush said he and the four men were beaten badly and at least one of them was still hospitalized at the time of the lawsuit. It’s unclear if anything related to that incident will be featured in the documentary.
