NHL fans on social media are split over recent reports of Leon Draisaitl’s potential eight-year contract extension with the Edmonton Oilers.

According to the Edmonton Journal’s David Staples, Bob Stauffer of the Edmonton Oilers radio network had a conversation with one of Draisaitl’s agents and suggested that an eight-year contract is the most probable outcome.
