The singer’s cousin Jethro Sheeran, who is nine years older than his cousin said that he played a big role in shaping Ed’s musical taste and helped him becoming one of the best singer worldwide and songwriter as well.
As years passed, the two of them have changes their paths as they’ve taken very different turns.
Ed became a global pop sensation with hit after hit amassing big amount of around £375 million, meanwhile, Jethro is still chasing his own music dreams living with his mother as he continues to try for a break in the charts.
During his recent interview with DailyMail, Jethro accused his cousin for holding many grudges against him as he shared: “I love him because he is my blood and flesh but I don’t need to know him any more.”
“Our relationship has broken down over music, I taught him, and we’re now not even on talking terms,” he added.
“He needs to apologise to me first but I don’t think he ever will.”
He went on explaining, “I was ordered to drop his name and image from our joint music which he had been using and I want to [use].”
“He has made millions but I feel I was due some recompense and recognition through a verbal agreement we both had of three songs I had written and produced, and gave to him to take to his fan base,” Jethro spilled.
