“He Kicked Out of Me” – Eminem Told Mike Tyson Once That He Almost Quit Boxing After Losing to a 14-Year-Old
Renowned rapper Eminem is well-known for a variety of things. In addition to being one of the top rappers in the industry, he is an avid boxer.
The 47-year-old enjoys boxing as a way to keep in shape, and he once considered playing a part in the film Southpaw. Nevertheless, due to scheduling issues, he had to decline the job as he was simultaneously recording The Marshall Mathers LP 2.
The rapper’s appearance on Mike Tyson’s podcast, Hotboxin’ with Mike Tyson, seemed inevitable given all of these factors and his strong relationship with the boxing great. In reality, Tyson told Eminem the following on a podcast. At 45:55, Tyson added, “Everything you got was, fuckin’—not even given to you.” You get what I mean? You fuckin’ slaved for it. The only other white guy who understands what it’s like to be a n***a is you.
“Not sure how to answer that,” Em laughed nervously in response. However, no, man. It’s, well I mean, we all have a tale to tell. Thus, it is safe to infer that Tyson respects Eminem.
