Between the Eras Tour travelling Europe and countless festivals (it truly feels like there are 5 a week), it has been a glorious music-centred summer thus far. And lately, the attitude on stage has been go big or go home — with experimental set design and lighting, mesmerising dancers, and, of course, avant garde fashion looks to bring everything together. Whether going for a ‘the bigger, the better’ approach or a detail-oriented angle, the stars are shining. We take a look at our favourite recent on-stage pieces, from the meaningful pin Harry Styles wore joining Stevie Nicks’ Hyde Park set to Conan Gray’s opening night fits for his Found Heaven tour.

Harry Styles: And the songbirds keep singing…

Harry Styles joined Stevie Nicks on stage at BST Hyde Park last weekend, and it was truly a night for the books. Performing an emotional duet of “Stop Draggin’ My Heart Around” and “Landslide”, they drew the crowd to goosebumps and tears as the sun set over the park. An homage to Fleetwood Mac band member Christine McVie on what would have been her 81st birthday, the performance was moving and emotional — as was Styles’ little tribute of his own, in the form of a Songbird pin. Hand embroidered by S.S. Daley for the occasion, it referenced one of his presumably favourite Fleetwood Mac tracks, which he previously covered back in 2022. “The Songbird pin incorporates British stumpwork embroidery carried out over four days in our London studio, inspired by a mid-19th century lithograph,” the brand shared.

Taylor Swift: It’s the first kiss, it’s flawless, really something… it’s Fearless!

If you’re not familiar with the Eras Tour style, Swift infrequently debuts new interpretations of her looks into the rotation — adding but not replacing any one piece entirely. For the Fearless section, she always wears a sparkly gold dress reminiscent of her classic Fearless Tour style, bringing the crowd into a nostalgic puddle of tears as she takes us back to high school with her. In Milan, she emerged on stage to sing the title track in a new version, designed appropriately by Fausto Puglisi, Creative Director of Italian label Roberto Cavalli. In the “Ray of Gold” print, it echoes the golden tones of the album and catches light in a captivating, glimmering manner as she twirls.

Troye Sivan: Face card, no cash, no credit…

For Troye Sivan’s Something to Give Each Other Tour, stylist Marc Forne raised the bar for on-stage looks. Working with designers such as Courreges, Alexander McQueen, and Ludovic de Saint Sernin to craft custom pieces for Sivan, he pulled together looks that embodied the sexy and powerful nature of the music, materialising the sound into something visual. One of our favourites from the first leg of the tour is this custom disco ball bodysuit that gave a nod to the late French icon Françoise Hardy. As sparkly as the star himself, the look featured an open front, a belted accent, and a matching chainmail-esque neck scarf, all by Rabanne — who just announced Sivan as their first global makeup brand ambassador.

Suki Waterhouse: Oh my god, take me back the way that I was!

Suki Waterhouse — whose second album, Memoir of a Sparklemuffin, arrives September 13 — performed at Day in Day Out Fest in Seattle, and her look is utterly angelic. Dressed in Chloe, she sported a flowing blush pink cape that we have to say is giving Daisy Jones & The Six. Season 2, anyone? Worn with knee high boots and high waisted shorts, it truly was a 70’s dream — and she’s our favourite dreamgirl.

Conan Gray: On and on and on, like a never-ending song…

Conan Gray has kicked off his Found Heaven tour and has done so in style! For his opening night in Melbourne, his looks were dramatic, appropriately extra, and utterly star-worthy. Between a long, billowing cape and skin tight leather pants, it was perfection start to finish.
