Mikayla Demaiter has made her transition from hockey player to social media influencer look pretty easy.
Demaiter used to play for the Bluewater Hawks of the Women’s Hockey League. Her career was ultimately cut short due to injury. Instead of questioning what’s next, she quickly realized she could become very popular on Instagram. That turned out to be an excellent decision for her. Over the past two years, she has gained so many followers that she’s constantly turning heads on a daily basis.
Earlier this week, Demaiter shared new swimsuit photos on Instagram. As per usual, she teased her fans with her caption.
“Giving you yet another reason to stop and stare,” Demaiter wrote.
This post from Demaiter received over 116,000 likes in three days, which is pretty impressive. Of course, her followers had a lot to say about her appearance.
“The most beautiful women on earth,” one person said.
“You’re unreal,” another person commented.
“These pics should come with a warning beforehand,” a third Instagram follower added.
At this point, there’s nothing that’ll slow Demaiter’s brand down. She is truly one of the top Instagram influencers in he world.
While her days of being in the front of the net are over, Demaiter remains loyal to her roots.
Considering Demaiter shares a new photo shoot every week, it won’t be long before she goes viral once again.
And with the NHL season about to begin, Demaiter will have plenty of chances to improve her social media following.
