Kardashian fans are dragging Caitlyn Jenner online for her ‘out of touch’ and hypocritical relationship with Elon Musk after she posted a photo with the Tesla CEO on her Instagram.
Caitlyn Jenner is being called out on Reddit by Kardashian fans for hanging out with Elon Musk after she posted a picture with the Tesla CEO on Instagram.
The former Olympian is being criticized as being “out of touch” and hypocritical for her support of Musk despite his transphobic remarks and beliefs, especially when it comes to the businessman’s own daughter.
Jenner has been vocal about her support for President-elect Donald Trump, as well as advocating against transgender athletes from competing in women’s sports, despite being a trans woman herself. One Redditor shared their feelings rather bluntly: “Caitlyn, you’re a f***ing disgrace. Shame on you.”
Jenner posted the photo of her with Musk and Trump to her Instagram on Wednesday with the caption: “Hope is back in America. These two men will single-handedly save western civilization and that starts with a strong United States of America. I am here and at your service and forever indebted to your sacrifice for this country. Let’s Make America Great Again!”

Kardashian fans were quick to point out the hypocrisy of Jenner’s support for Musk, who opposes gender-affirming care and whose own daughter has cut him out of her life because of his transphobic attitudes.
In July 2024, Musk said that his daughter Vivian is “dead” and that she was “killed by the woke mind virus.” One commenter noted, “So Caitlyn Jenner is good enough for him but his daughter isn’t,” while another echoed, “Hypocrisy at its finest.”
Jenner transitioned in 2015, but has still maintained relationships with people like Musk and Trump, who have made it clear that they do not support the rights of transgender people and are fighting to take them away. One Redditor said, “this is what you call privilege! it’s insane how when you’re financially secure the day to day issues don’t affect you as much,” calling Jenner out for looking the other way and being out of touch with other trans people.
Another commenter on the thread noted, “So they are ok with a transgender [person] as long as she’s republican?!!!!,” zeroing in on the fact that as long as Jenner is on their side when it comes to Republican anti-trans attitudes and legislation, that she is the exception to their hatred, which one user called “family dog syndrome.”
