Being a huge Eminem fan, Taylor Swift might have followed his life mantra.
Eminem is undoubtedly one of the top names in rap/ hip-hop music. He has contributed significantly to the hip-hop genre through his illustrious career involving multiple award-winning and acclaimed studio albums. He has gained immense respect among other artists and contemporaries of the genre who call him one of the best.

His admirers are not limited to the hip-hop world as many other popular and celebrated musicians have also voiced their love for the rapper. Taylor Swift is among those and she is a big fan of Eminem. It seems the rapper’s own outlook on life and handling social media might have influenced how Swift has handled hers in recent years.
Taylor Swift Seems to Have Taken in Eminem’s Unique Life Mantra
Taylor Swift is now the biggest name in pop music currently with her legion of fans supporting her at every turn. With 10 highly successful albums to her kitty, she will undoubtedly go down as one of the era-defining artists of her generation. Despite her fame and achievements, she is still in awe of other artists and their works.
“He never recovered from this”: Fans Drag Eminem After Machine Gun Kelly Goes Viral For His Bizarre Tattoo
Swift is a big fan of hip-hop music and Eminem’s career. She has expressed her desire to collaborate with the rapper in an interview with InStyle magazine (via Digital Spy). As an artist who came after Eminem, she looks up to him and may have even followed his life mantra. In an interview, when Eminem was asked why he doesn’t follow anyone on X, he simply responded (via Marca)
“Always be a leader, not a follower”
Similarly, Taylor Swift has not followed anyone on Instagram or X for many years now. She seems to have followed Eminem’s way of dealing with the toxicity that happens online. She even stated in an interview that she does not want her life to be dictated and controlled by trolls and haters on social media. She said, (via Elite Daily)
“So it was kind of my way of like not allowing my life to be controlled and monitored by social media. And I think we’re all kind of taking steps to try to figure out how to not let it take over our lives and our feelings of validation.”
Both artists do not want to deal with the hypocrisy that sometimes surrounds fandom and the unnecessary hate they get online. Many other artists also face the same problem and are still struggling with connecting with fans online while also dealing with invalid criticisms.

Eminem was most recently featured in Juice WRLD’s posthumous release Lace Up which was released last December.
