Sheeran posted the story as part of the Like a Prayer TikTok trend – revealing a lesser known fact about Blanco.

Ed Sheeran shared a humorous story on TikTok about a 10-day cruise he once took across the Atlantic Ocean with music producer Benny Blanco.
The pair traveled from the U.S. to the UK because Blanco is “scared of flying.”
Sheeran posted the story as part of the Like a Prayer TikTok trend, where people share emotional and dramatic personal stories.
He described the trip as a bit of a hassle, saying, “10 whole days” on a boat was not exactly his idea of fun.
However, the trip was tied to the work they did on Sheeran’s 2017 album, Divide.

The journey took an unexpected twist when the ship’s announcement mentioned they were passing over the location where the Titanic sank.
“We’re doing WHAT???!!?” Sheeran recalled thinking.
He said tourists rushed to the side of the boat, snapping pictures of the water.
Blanco and Sheeran shared a laugh, with Sheeran recalling Blanco asking, “‘Wanna go watch it?’” The two then watched the 1997 film Titanic, with Sheeran joking that Blanco held him the entire time.
“Is he going to paint me like one of his French girls?” Sheeran stated in his TikTok video.
He also joked: “We could both fit on that wooden door…right?”
Despite the chilly conditions, Sheeran was glad he made it through the night “dry and only slightly cold.”
