Ed Sheeran donated 200 items to be sold at auction in aid of a Suffolk hospice
An auction that sold off 200 items belonging to Suffolk music star Ed Sheeran has seen one of his guitars sell for £11,000.
The event was held by Bishop & Miller Auctioneers based in Stowmarket on Thursday.
It was in aid of St Elizabeth Hospice and its young adult service, Zest, which are based in Ipswich.
In total, £50,310 was raised, while the Fernandes Zo-3 Pokemon-themed limited edition electric guitar went for £10,400 more than estimated.

The guitar that features the character Pikachu on it was expected to sell for between £400 and £600.
Meanwhile, Sheeran’s Ipswich Town away shirt from the 2021/22 season was expected to fetch up to £80, but sold for £2,000.

A painting depicting a heart that was owned by Sheeran was sold for £3,500, and a sealed pack of Apple AirPods Max went for £350.
