Leaving Diddy is just as dangerous as staying with him! Apparently Kim Porter tried to move on and date someone else at one point during their over-a-decade-long relationship. And the new guy was nearly killed!

As you may know, the rapper began dating the model in 1994. They dated on and off until 2007 when she ended things for good upon finding out Diddy fathered a daughter named Chance with Sarah Chapman. This was at the same time Kim was pregnant with their twin girls, D’Lila and Jessie.

But long before that, during one of their off-again periods in 2000, Kim was seeing late music executive Shakir Stewart. And according to Rolling Stone, her relationship with Def Jam‘s former Executive Vice President apparently infuriated Diddy!

That summer, Kim and Shakir attended L.A. Reid’s wedding in Italy with other people in the industry. After the ceremony, the record executive’s mom Portia and two close friends claim Diddy went to his room after the ceremony and broke a chair over his head! Not only did the music mogul attack Shakir, he allegedly threatened to kill him! Just for dating Kim! Portia recalled:

“He left him bleeding on a hotel floor in Italy. He had to have stitches and then [Combs] threatened him … ‘I’m going to kill you’ … That’s when I said you need to get out of this business. This man is crazy.”

OMG! That wasn’t the only example of his disturbing obsession with Kim. She previously told Essence Diddy would call her “50, 60 times a day” while he was dating Jennifer Lopez, adding:

“It was like my life was not my own.… He was very, very intrusive.”

Jeez. When Kim and Diddy were together, their relationship was also tumultuous. Two sources claimed The Four: Battle for Stardom judge physically abused the actress. Former Bad Boy rapper Mark Curry told Rolling Stone:

“I remember Kim used to go through a lot of stuff. If you live around them, you get to see the toxic relationship.… I think every relationship he had that I experienced around him was like that.”

This is not the first time we’ve heard about the alleged abuse Kim suffered at the hands of Diddy. The musician’s former bodyguard claimed earlier this month that he saw him hurting women “around four or five times,” including toward Kim and Cassie Venture. And there’s even proof of the abuse toward Cassie, as a video of Diddy horrifically beating her came out as well this month. So it’s not hard to believe that “every relationship he had” ended up being a total nightmare…
