Oilers superstar Connor McDavid’s wife Lauren is releasing a new line of clothes in partnership with the Edmonton Oilers, and along with this major business launch, she’s officially changed her name.

The longtime couple Connor McDavid and Lauren Kyle got married this summer in an intimate and private ceremony in Ontario.

Now, Lauren has announced a new line of designer Oilers merchandise hand curated by herself. Along with the press releases for this brand, Lauren has also officially changed her name in documents and social media to Lauren Kyle McDavid.

Obviously it’s not a shock considering the couple got married, but Lauren herself is a public figure now, and it wouldn’t have been shocking to see her continue to use Kyle.

The new Oilers clothing from Lauren Kyle McDavid is definitely a little different from traditional merchandise, but it’s actually pretty cool. It may be a little expensive too, but it’s a great piece of apparel.

Fan reception for Lauren and the new clothing line with the Oilers has been incredibly high. Oilers fans are loving the merch and Lauren’s involvement, and even hockey fans around the league see the synergy between the Captain’s family and the Oilers organization.

And of course, Connor McDavjd himself posted to Instagram congratulating his wife for the launch of this new clothing line, and the company of Sports Club Atelier.

It’s fantastic to see everything coming up Edmonton and for the McDavids, both on and off the ice. The on-ice success is allowing players to feel their best off the ice, and it’s creating one of the best environments for players in the NHL. Props to the Oilers, and to the McDavids.
