My name is Deandra Grigsby, my 10 year old son is a devoted fan of the Oilers with you Connor McDavid being his favorite Hockey Player. My son and I will be attending the Oilers vs Coyotes game April 17, 2024 at Mullet Arena, Arizona.
I have a special request that I am wishing can be granted.
I am a single mother raising my son alone and I saved up money for us to attend the game. I am currently battling Stage 3 Cervical Cancer as the cancer spread to nearby lymph nodes that cannot be removed; as my cancer is not curable, per its status. My son plays travel ice hockey and during his current season I underwent another round of chemotherapy, in which my son witnessed me battle cancer for a second time at a more extensive rate. My son continued to work hard on and off the ice, being an amazing student and teammate. He also motivates me to keep fighting my battle with cancer.
I would like to honor my son for his determination, during such a trying time, with a special request, if possible. Could my son Micah be granted the opportunity to meet you before the game at the tunnel for a photo or during warm-ups can Connor McDavid give my son a puck or stick and pose for a quick photo at the glass?

Please let me know if this is possible. I also can provide any documentation for proof or reference.
