. It’s a four-year deal worth $39.486 million. The Bears were never concerned.

With this and Rome Odunze, the Chicago Bears have signed their 1st round draft picks.

Williams contract will contain a fifth year option with the Bears in 2028.

The Bears selected Williams, the former Heisman Trophy winner, Maxwell Award, and Walter Camp Award in 2022 while still playing for USC.

There were concerns that there would be issues signing, as his agent wasn’t NFLPA certified:

“I’m not handling that,” Williams told The Chicago Tribune during his inaugural Caleb Cares Foundation event in Chicago last Saturday. “My lawyers and attorney and everybody, the head of the Bears, everybody up there up top is handling that. That’s not my position that I’m handling.”
