An Instagram user going by the name Gabriella Zuniga has found herself caught up in the Shannon Sharpe drama following the latter’s legal team releasing the name of the Jane Doe who’s filing a lawsuit over alleged misconduct.

The ESPN personality and podcast host is the subject of a highly publicized legal dispute in which the complainant is demanding $50 million.

The woman, a Gabriella Zuniga, claims she got into a consensual relationship with Sharpe after they met at a gym in Los Angeles in 2023, but he allegedly acted against her consent on multiple occasions when she tried breaking things off with him after he caused her distress due to an accidental IG Live incident involving private content.

Initial reports did not name Zuniga, but her full name was disclosed by Sharpe’s attorney, who went on the offensive on Monday afternoon and released a statement on the former NFL star’s behalf in which he categorically denied the allegations. Screenshots of text exchanges between the two were also released.

social media users quickly rushed to social media in hopes of identifying Zuniga and, sure enough, a woman bearing that very name popped up on IG and seemed to fit the description as she looks to be in her early 20s and is visibly attractive.

However, this Gabriella Zuniga has said she is not the one involved in the case, insisting that followers and media outlets respect her privacy.

“Im not associated with Shannon sharpe im from Canada!!” she also wrote in her IG bio.

Zuniga’s profile was open for all to peruse on Monday, but she has since made it private, which is easy enough to understand, given the circumstances.
