Longtime member of the Boston Bruins, Milan Lucic, appears to be done in the NHL following arrest
Milan Lucic faced a tough decision in free agency last off-season but decided to return to his old stomping ground in Boston with the Bruins.
He also faced a tough reality, as he was arrested, which involved charges of domestic violence. November 9th of 2023 Lucic had been arrested, and Lucic was placed on leave moments after.

Time passed, Lucic still on ‘leave, and charges ended up being dropped following his now ex-wife, Brittany Lucic, for refusing to cooperate with the ongoing investigation.
Brittany has since filed for a divorce, alongside an order of protection against her husband, Milan Lucic.

Now it appears as his personal life continues to get messy, that Lucic will be unable to find work on the ice. According to an account on X who has broken multiple stories in the past, it appears that Lucic’s career will be coming to an end.
According to a source on X (formerly Twitter), Lucic will reportedly be unable to find a job in the NHL and will hang up the skates for good.
It looks like Milan Lucic’s NHL career is over. He was struggling to keep up last season, and his arrest left him unwelcome back in Boston.
There has been no interest in him this summer and he hasn’t been connected to anyone via rumors. At 36, it’s fair to say it’s game over.
