LeBron James, Anthony Davis and Team USA are in London for two exhibition games starting with a showdown against South Sudan on Saturday. The Americans, who are coming off an impressive 105-79 drubbing of Serbia two nights ago, hope to stay unbeaten in tuneup games. The NBA superstars are deep in their preparation for the Olympics but also take a break by going to events.

On Thursday night, James and AD went to Shepherd’s Bush in West London to rub elbows with A-listers. They attended the launching of Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre’s pet project, “Gin & Juice.” Eminem, who was expected to be there, surprised everyone with an impromptu number that had the four-time NBA MVP vibing:

While LeBron James stood on a platform to rap with “Slim Shady,” Anthony Davis and Bam Adebayo were content to stay out of the spotlight. “King James,” a big rapper fan, didn’t disappoint, as he got the lyrics right.

Snoop Dogg released “Gin and Juice” in his debut album “Doggystyle” in 1994. One of the famous lines from the song is:

“My homie Dr. Dre came through with a gang of Tanqueray.”

Three decades later, the iconic rappers launched their beverage of choice. They had no less than LeBron James, Anthony Davis, Joel Embiid, Bam Adebayo and other celebrities as guests.

England and Real Madrid soccer star Jude Bellingham also attended the event. NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal performed for the crowd too. Embiid probably shocked James and their companions when he joined Shaq on stage to entertain everyone.

LeBron James is a close friend and big Eminem supporter

In May this year, Eminem dropped “Houdini” to fans who have been waiting for four years for his next album.

The lead single from the album “The Death of Slim Shady (Coup de Grace) promptly earned LeBron James’ praise. The NBA’s all-time career points leader posted on X, formerly Twitter, his appreciation:

“And just like that, HE’S BACK bruh! @Eminem Houdini is too good!”

James’ support of Marshall Bruce Mathers III isn’t surprising, as they had worked together before as producers of “How Music Got Free.” The two are also close friends with Dr. Dre.

When Eminem and Dr. Dre went on stage to sing “Forgot About Dre,” LeBron James couldn’t help himself but rap along with them. James is busy preparing for Team USA’s campaign in the Olympics but he had a blast partying on Thursday.
