Aoki Lee Simmons Begs for 'Love and Respect' for Diddy's Kids Amid His Legal Drama

The daughter of Kimora Lee Simmons believes that the children of the embattled hip-hop mogul should be treated with ‘love and respect’ regardless of the allegations leveled at their father.

Aoki Lee Simmons sticks with the Combs children amid Sean “P. Diddy” Combs’ mounting legal issues. The young model has come to the defense of the rapper’s kids, asking people to treat them with “love and respect” regardless of the allegations leveled at their father.

On Tuesday, October 15, the daughter of Russell Simmons and Kimora Lee Simmons turned on Instagram Live, during which someone asked her what she thinks about Diddy’s case. Instead of weighing in on the legal matter, she chose to highlight Combs’ children, whom she called her “little cousins.”

“I think his daughters and children are such wonderful people, and I really hope you guys treat them with love and respect because they’re nice kids,” the 22-year-old told the viewers. “It’s not their fault. Anything adults, that’s adult business and they are not adults… My little cousins, they are in school. They are not adults so please treat them like children. That’s all I ask.”

Aoki echoed her mother’s sentiment. Back in May, Kimora pledged her support for Diddy’s twins Jessie James (II) and D’Lila Star prior to his arrest. Following the federal raids at the music mogul’s homes, she told TMZ, “I love them so much, and I have their back.” She added, “They’re just beautiful and I love them so much,” before stressing, “And I have their back always and forever.”

The Baby Phat founder, however, brushed it off and nervously laughed when asked about the sexual assault allegations, lawsuits and federal investigations against Diddy. “No, no. I don’t know about all that,” she responded. She continued with a laugh, “That’s a lot. I only know my kids.”

Diddy was arrested in September in New York City following months of investigation. He has been denied bail and remains in jail until his trial, which is set to begin on May 5, 2025.

During the same Live session, Aoki addressed recent viral comments on being compared to her mother. “Y’all, I’m really tight with my mom. Don’t do that,” she said after her mother saw a clip of her taken out of context.

She then joked about how she seemed manic in her posts, “My mom also pointed out that I may seem manic online. I’m not to my knowledge. I’m not bipolar. I do have ADHD. Is mania ADHD?”
