Man Arrested at Morgan Wallen Concert for ‘Terroristic Threat’ Against Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce

On Friday, a man was arrested at Morgan Wallen’s concert at Kansas City’s Arrowhead Stadium after making a “terroristic threat” that resulted in a 45-minute delay to the headliner’s set.

Kansas City police detectives were alerted to a post on X (formerly Twitter) that contained a threat against two individuals, according to the Jackson County Prosecutor’s Office. The country music star’s concert was attended by Kansas City Chiefs’ stars Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce.

Aaron Brown, a resident of Winchester, posted the threat online before the show. The threatening message was made from the X account “Gooey Bag (respectfully)” and was directed at the two NFL players who “were present at the event.” The redacted threat stated: “Mr. [redacted] at Arrowhead with the wife. If he brings out [redacted] or [redacted], I’ll take the f–kin shot. F–k em!” He also added, “Also f–k you bitch!! (hand emoji with middle finger up twice) @[redacted].”

Patrick Mahomes’ pregnant wife, Brittany Mahomes, was also at the concert alongside Travis Kelce. Police took the threat seriously and tracked down Brown’s information, contacting him via his cell phone.

Recognizing the severity of the situation, Brown voluntarily disclosed his location at the stadium and informed the officers of the section he was seated in. Authorities quickly located him and his girlfriend. When confronted with the tweet directed at Mahomes and Kelce, Brown admitted, “It was a stupid, stupid, stupid mistake.”

Regardless of his admission, the Illinois man was arrested, as reported by TMZ. He has been charged with making terroristic threats.

Despite the alarming threat, the concert resumed after the delay. Morgan Wallen performed alongside Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce, who were both in attendance at the Chiefs’ stadium. Brittany Mahomes, who is expecting the couple’s third child, was also present.

The show eventually continued with Wallen, Mahomes, and Kelce, even as the Illinois man faced arrest.
