Caitlin Clark has finally opened up on the injury she sustained during a game against the New York Liberty.
The Indiana Fever rookie told reporters she was dealing with a “pretty gross” injury two weeks ago but didn’t care to elaborate.

However, she spoke about it while speaking to the press before Friday night’s fixture against the Atlanta Dream, revealing she sustained a ruptured eardrum.
The former Iowa star was responding to a question about her most significant “welcome to the WNBA” moment.
“Honestly, I’ve been popped on a couple screens,” she said. “I actually ruptured my ear drum when we were in New York on a tough screen. So if I had to pick one [welcome to the WNBA moment] right now, it would be that. Great screens, I just didn’t hear them. It was kind of my own fault.”

Caitlin Clark Is Thriving Despite The Injury
Caitlin Clark hasn’t let her injury slow her down and is thriving in her first year. She helped the Fever climb to 7-10 on Friday night, recording 16 points, four rebounds, and seven assists.
She’s averaging 16.2 points, 6.2 assists, and 5.4 assists per game this season.
The 22-year-old will be back in action this coming Sunday. The Fever are scheduled to play a highly anticipated third game against the Chicago Sky.
Clark and Indiana are 2-0 against the Sky so far.
